The LCD & Fan-Equipped CPU Cooler Looks Cool with a Connected Fan! ASUS's New Water-Cooler ROG RYUJIN III ARGB

ASUS' ROG line is notably known for its motherboards and video cards as a gaming brand because of its stunning appearance and great performance, but the company is also working on fortifying PC cases and CPU coolers. This time, we'll look at the latest basic water cooler, the ROG RYUJIN III ARGB.

ASUS' gaming brand, ROG (Republic of Gamers), includes a wide range of devices, including notebook PCs, cellphones, Wi-Fi routers, displays, power supply units, and the recently introduced portable game console ROG Ally. Many PC builders are familiar with the ROG STRIX series as the company's standard model of motherboards and video cards.

The brand's attributes include a strong gaming-like design, performance that lets you play games comfortably, and reliability that can survive extended durations of play. As a result, it is also popular with non-gamers who desire robustness and stability.

The basic water cooler ROG RYUJIN III 360 ARGB launched this time is a sibling machine to the ROG RYUJIN III 360. Although the water cooling head has not changed, it is now a fan with an integrated LED that can be attached without the need of cables, considerably reducing the requirement for fan cable handling, which is an issue when installing basic water cooling and making installation easier.

The 36cm class radiator provides great cooling performance. The water-cooled head, which employs Asetek's 8th generation pump, has a 3.5-inch LCD panel that displays system information such as CPU temperature and pump rotation speed, as well as your favourite GIF animations. It also contains an integrated fan that can cool the region around the CPU socket, including the VRM. The radiator measures 399.5 x 120 x 30 mm and is compatible with CPU sockets LGA1700/1200/115x for Intel and AM5/AM4 for AMD.

So far, the ROG RYUJIN III 360 ARGB and ROG RYUJIN III 360 are identical. The three 12cm square fans mounted to the radiator make the difference. The ROG RYUJIN III 360 is a high-performance fan that employs Noctua's NF-F12 industrialPPC-2000 PWM sans LEDs, however installation was difficult because each fan required a power cable connection.

It offers magnetic chaining in addition to built-in addressable RGB. Simply bring the fans up to the connections on the side and they will be held in place by magnets. All three fans and LEDs will activate if a cable is connected to either end. Furthermore, it is magnetic and can be attached or detached at any moment, so the cable does not get in the way while mounting this device within a PC case. It's fantastic because you can attach and detach the cable even if it becomes tangled with other cables after assembly.
